We are a group of enthusiastic recreational and technical divers trying to provide a range of decent information to our dive buddies around the world.
We’ve been around for quite a while now, but our activities have been limited to diving….arranging dive trips, going on dive trips, buying more dive gear for dive trips and discussing past dive trips!
However, we have constantly complained amongst ourselves that there is no single source of comprehensive information covering the whole of the dive experience, from certification bodies through dive centers to kit. Yes, there are lots of sites out there with the required information, but nowhere (that we could find at least) where it was all there together.
After a few ‘refreshments’ in the local, we decided to embark on a journey to resolve this, initially for recreational diving with technical following in the future. We recognise that its a journey where the destination is forever moving; new dive centers open, some close, new dive sites are found, existing sites change, new gear is launched and old gear is retired; but embarked we have nonetheless.
We are doing all of this ourselves, in our free time! IN the process, we are learning new skills (such as website design), learning new things about our sport (developments happen all of the time) and meeting new people.
As mentioned elsewhere, this website will develop and grow over time. We welcome ideas for improvement, so if you think something would be good to add then please do let us know.
